What is the Lucid Air like to drive?
Depending on specification, the Air offers roughly 480bhp to well over 800bhp, with Grand Touring versions producing around 819bhp and covering 0-62mph in approximately 3.0 seconds. Range is a headline feature, with the most efficient versions rated at up to around 450 miles WLTP. It drives with a quiet, wafty composure befitting a luxury saloon, yet has the instant thrust of a serious performance EV when you ask for it.
Short-term hire vs buying an EV
As a newer brand in the UK, Lucid's models and support network are still developing quickly, and battery and charging technology continues to advance. Short-term hire lets you experience the Air without taking on the long-term depreciation and residual uncertainty of a young marque. When your term ends you simply return it or move to a newer car, keeping your options open.
Lucid Air, your questions
Can I hire a Lucid Air short-term?
Yes, we arrange flexible short-term hire, typically from 1 to 48 months, subject to availability of this rarer model through our approved hire partners. We match you to a partner who supplies the car rather than renting it to you ourselves.
Do I need perfect credit?
Prestige vehicles are underwritten a little more carefully, but enquiring involves no credit check to get a quote. We take a few details to match you to the right approved hire partner, with no obligation.
Why is the Lucid Air known for its range?
Lucid's highly efficient electric powertrain and aerodynamics give the Air exceptional range, with the most efficient versions rated at up to around 450 miles WLTP. Real-world figures vary with speed, temperature and driving style, but it remains one of the longer-range electric saloons available.
How hiring through us works
We’re an introducer, not the rental company. We match you to a vetted short-term rental partner who supplies the vehicle and confirms the final price and terms. You’re never charged to enquire, there’s no credit check to get a guide quote, and we tell you who we’re matching you with.
This is short-term vehicle hire, not finance, no APR or credit agreement applies.
