# Best vans for courier and delivery work

Updated October 2026 · 3 min read

**For courier and delivery work, the best van is the one that matches your round, not a badge. Small car-derived vans suit dense city drops, medium panel vans handle most parcel rounds, and larger long-wheelbase vans carry bulkier loads or heavier volumes. Prioritise load space, a low load lip, sliding side doors, reliability and fuel economy, and remember insurance is arranged separately from your hire.**
